Netflix’s Beef is One Show Filled with Meaty Music
Unless you have been living in a bunker cut-off from the rest of the world, you heard of Beef, Netflix’s new series starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. While it has its share of backlash due questionable cast member behavior–particularly that of David Choi– the predominantly Asian-cast show has generated quite a buzz due to its brilliant writing, stellar performances, and spot-on music. Rated 8.3 out of 10 on IMDB, and 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, Beef is a certified hit.
British composer Bobby Krlic–also known as–The Haxan Cloak is credited with writing and producing the original score, but some tracks are from the vast APM Music catalog, including ones from classic libraries such as KPM, Bruton, Sonoton, Cezamé, Kosinus, and more.
