Lo Editions wishes Ninja Tune Happy 20th
Founded in 1990 by DJs Matt Black and Jonathan More, better known as Coldcut, the Ninja Tune label has a been a consistent leader in innovative electronic, alternative hip hop, instrumental hip hop, nu jazz, drum and bass, and chillout music.
With artists such as Luke Vibert, DJ Vadim and of course Coldcut, Ninja Tune has carved a place in the heart of every dance music enthusiast over the last 20 years and we’re proud to feature those very artists on the Lo Editions / Ninja Tune collaborations
To celebrate its anniversary, Ninja Tune has released a massive limited edition box set of music (106 tracks) 2 CD’s + 6 x 7". Many of the artists featured on this box set also appear on The Bruton LOCD Ninja Tune albums currently available in APM Search.
The Ninja Tune box set contains new tracks from Mr. Scruff, Toddla T, Kid Koala, Wagon Christ, Jaga Jazzist, King Geedorah, DJ Food, Kyle Hall, The Heavy, The Qemists, King Cannibal, Blockhead and unreleased archive tracks from The Cinematic Orchestra and Roots Manuva AND new remixes from Modeselektor, Cut Chemist, Zomby, Scuba, Dorian Concept, EL-P, The Bug, King Jammy, Matthew Herbert, Rustie, Prefuse 73, cLOUDDEAD, 808 State, The Orb, Tom Middleton, Gold Panda, JME, Alix Perez, Joe Goddard (Hot Chip), Doomed (Richard Russell) and Roots Manuva.
To coincide with the release, Ninja Tune has been hosting anniversary celebrations across the globe including locations in: Paris, Berlin, Brussels, London, France, Poland, USA, Japan, Istanbul, Bristol, London, Brighton, etc.
