Los Angeles, CA: The Guild Of Music Supervisors (founded in 2008) will hold their second annual Grammy Day Brunch to honor the Best Music Supervision in Film, TV, Games and Trailers on Sunday, February 12th (the morning of the Grammy Awards) at the Magnolia restaurant in downtown Los Angeles (825 James M. Woods Blvd.)
Guild Members have completed the voting process and nominated their peers in nine different categories including: Best Music Supervision in Independent Films (20 Million Dollars and Under,) Best Music Supervision Films (Over 20 Million Dollar Budget,) Best Music Supervision Studio Films, Best Music Supervision in Trailers, Best Music Supervision Reality Television / Live, Best Music Supervision Television, Best Music Supervision TV Long Form (Movies and Mini-Series,) Best Music Supervision Studio Television, and Best Music Supervision Games.
In making the announcement about the awards, GMS President and Co-Founder Maureen Crowe
states: “The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards acknowledges excellence in the field of music supervision who strive to advance the storytelling power of music in media. We are thrilled to expand our awards this year and shed light on all the great work being done by music supervisors.”
