Be The Hero: Trailer Music at its Heroic Best

The hero's journey is a classic story arc employed by history's best storytellers, from Homer to George Lucas. It's a timeless tale of a person from obscure beginnings who later fulfills a destiny that will change the world. These heroic tales permeate our culture through literature and motion pictures, and nothing elevates these stories more than music. Beethoven's Eroica, John William's Star Wars theme, and Alan Silvestri's Back to the Future score exemplify how music completes the hero's journey. And in film and TV, it all begins with trailer music.

Be The Hero, released last December, is a 91-track album from Hooked Library that will bring your trailers to glory. It is written by some of the best composers in the industry today and contains full cinematic and pop tracks with various versions that will cover your trailer needs. The album explores themes of confidence, victory, triumph, and empowerment.

"The best application for this album would be for TV show trailers rather than film trailers, so I could see it being used for a teen drama, superhero show, or any other kind of dramatic/dark TV show," APM Music Director Keiko McTingley said. "My favorite track is track 6: 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Me Now.'"

• Who Will Be The One - An epic song loaded with soaring synth leads, deep-pulsating rhythm, and triumphant vocals with lyrics perfect for competition show trailers.
• You'll Fall, I'll Rise - Emotional female vocals with inspiring lyrics about rising to the challenge. The buildup to a massive chorus is intense and inspiring at the same time.
