About Gustav Jenner 

• Jenner studied under the renowned composer Johannes Brahms, who became his mentor and significantly influenced his musical style. Brahms considered Jenner to be one of his most talented students. 
• Jenner had a close friendship with the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. They deeply admired each other's work, and Bruckner often sought Jenner's advice on his compositions. 
• Jenner's compositions often bear a striking resemblance to the music of Anton Bruckner. He was highly skilled in emulating Bruckner's style, and his works have been described as reminiscent of Bruckner's symphonies. 
• While Jenner is primarily known as a composer, he also had a successful career as a conductor. He held conducting positions in various cities, including Worms and Mannheim.
