The award nominated film, The Fighter, features "Solid Gold" (KPM 643 #10) off the KPM 1000 Series, a collection of early recordings from the 60s & 70s.

The Fighter is based on a true story of the early years of boxer "Irish" Micky Ward and his brother who helped train him before going pro in the mid 1980s.

Congratulations to freelance editor and web designer, J.R. Burningham, and his team for winning the “Crash the Super Bowl” contest with their “Pug Attack” ad which tied as the #1 spot on the USA Today Ad Meter!

Last week, Barbara Walters fulfilled a dream by broadcasting her interview with the full cast of the popular TV show, Jersey Shore.

Cast includes: Paulie D, Jenni, Ronnie, Sammie, Vinny, Nicole (Snooki), and Mike (The Situation).

The segment ran as part of Walters’ annual “Most Fascinating People” special which had excellent ratings for CBS, following Walters' Oprah interview.

APM Music is part of the new McDonald's ad campaign and, featured in the "Proud Papa Bear" ad, is the Bruton track "Perfect Ending" (BR 456 #24) provides a perfect setting for this emotional tale.

The new Tron: Evolution video game has just been released on all platforms to coincide with the film Tron: Legacy, due to hit theaters on December 17, 2010, and APM Music is part of the action!

Much of the success of MAD MEN is the authentic 60s look and sound the producers capture so brilliantly. The period sets, the hairstyles, the bottomless martini glasses, endless streams of cigarette smoke, the suits and dresses worn to perfection. None of this would feel so authentic without the sound of the early 60s. And to create the sublime soundtrack and backdrop to the set of MAD MEN, the producers often turn to APM Music and the original and authentic recordings of Sonoton.
