Adam Saunders studied at London’s Royal Academy of Music, winning several prizes for composition. Since leaving he has established a career composing music for the concert hall and for worldwide television, film and other media. Hundreds of Adam’s compositions have been used in major television productions and Hollywood movies. In addition to a two-year period as composer-in-residence with the East of England Orchestra / Sinfonia Viva, Adam has had his works performed and recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Hallé Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Bulgarian Film Orchestra and Chorus, Academy of Ancient Music, London Mozart Players, Odense Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra, Orchestra of the Renaissance and the Brighton Festival Chorus, amongst others.
As well as his work as a composer, arranger and conductor, Adam also regularly performs as a jazz pianist with his own trio and quintet.
